Job Description


Our client, a leading food service company, is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team. If you have the required experience and are up for a challenge, this could be a great opportunity for you. Responsibilities include:


1) Oversee the daily workflow of the Plant Human Resources Department to include provide superior customer service to associates and other internal customers

2) Partner with plant leadership to understand and execute the plant’s human resource and talent acquisition strategy particularly as it relates to associate engagement, recruiting, retention and succession planning

3) Coach, train and develop the plant’s Human Resources Team to include generalists, coordinators and administrative team members

4) Provide support and guidance to the Plant Management and other staff around policies, procedures and sensitive matters

5) Manage and drive the hiring process to meet the plant’s staffing needs, which may include recruitment, interviewing, offers, orientations and onboarding of qualified job applicants

6) Facilitate a positive onboarding process for all new associates to include orientation, hiring and follow-up

7) Drive established learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for associates

8) Oversee and facilitate associate disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations

9) Ensure the compliance, documentation and resolution

10) Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices

11) Review policies and practices to maintain compliance

12) Maintain knowledge of human resource related trends, best practices and local and federal employment law

13) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the food service industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in human resources management
