Job Description
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the poultry industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Operations Supervisor to their team. Responsibilities include:
1) Comply with all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, quality assurance and all plant specific procedures and rules
2) Inspect products for naturally occurring defects and processing defects
3) Identify and report any suspicious and abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor and plant management
4) Work independently with people of diverse backgrounds
5) Communicate effectively with management and non-management employees
6) Manage all departmental paperwork and reporting
7) Comply with company’s policies and procedures
8) Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
9) Maintain compliance with all applicable departmental and facility job hazard analysis and job safety analysis
10) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the poultry industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in operations supervision
