Job Description
Our client, a leading meat company, is currently seeking an ambitious Maintenance Manager to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:
1) Oversee all functions of the Maintenance Department with the help of supervisors
2) Manage overall operations of the Maintenance Department to ensure that there is no down time
3) Lead planning and development of capital projects, PM goals, planning and installation of equipment for ongoing projects
4) Establish, meet and exceed budget goals
5) Work professionally and productively with other Departments' supervisors, Construction managers and Plant managers
6) Support goals of company, plant and department
7) Participate in regulatory agency audits and inspections
8) Ensure downtime reduction
9) Implement department's safety and training program and meet efficiency goals for the department
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance management
