We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with EyrePlus in the delivery of Community Development Program (CDP), an Australian Government funded Programme, managed by Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet for Far West Region of South Australia.

The Opportunity

We are seeking motivated and driven individuals with experience in Community Development Program (CDP) who strive to achieve their goals and have a proven track record in achieving KPIs and driving performance to join us as CDP Employment Consultant in Ceduna, SA.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake remote travel to remote communities as part of the position. 

As an Employment Consultant, you will act as a case manager working with our CDP participants to meet their mutual obligations with Centrelink by providing highly quality, individually tailored pre-employment related, services in accordance with CDP operational guidelines.

To be considered for the position, you will need to;

  • Have a broad knowledge of the Community Development Program (CDP) or other Government employment programs.
  • Skilled in understanding what it takes to create an individually tailored Job Plan that participants are motivated and inspired by.
  • Be Passionate, enthusiastic with an open communication style, and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Be a self-starter, and enjoy working in a collaborate environment where thoughts and ideas are exchanged
  • Have an awareness of issues affecting Aboriginal people in regional and remote locations and ability to able to provide effective employment related services in a cross-cultural environment
  • A current (or be willing to obtain) a National Police Check, DCSI clearance and pre-employment medical assessments
  • Current Drivers License
