Who are Eyreplus?

EyrePlus delivers the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) across Far West South Australia on behalf of the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA). Our team works with participants, employers, and community organisations to create clear pathways into work, and to support people to thrive in their roles.

What will you do?

• Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to understand participants’ skills, education, work history, aspirations, and personal circumstances.
• Co-design and regularly review individual Job Plans & Participation Options Plans that reflect participant goals, community priorities, and labour market opportunities.
• Provide tailored, culturally appropriate guidance to support participants to overcome barriers such as transport, housing, literacy, or health-related challenges.
• Support participants to develop job readiness skills including résumé preparation, interview practice, workplace expectations, and digital literacy.
• Connect participants to employment placements, traineeships, and community projects that enhance work experience and skills development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers to identify and promote sustainable job opportunities.

Who are you?

We are looking for skills and experience such as:

• Demonstrated experience in employment services, case management, training, or community development.
• Strong understanding of the barriers and opportunities affecting employment in remote and regional communities.
• Proven ability to engage respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate participants from diverse backgrounds.
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance targets.
• Sound administrative and computer skills, including use of databases, Microsoft Office, and digital platforms.
• Availability to travel to remote communities as needed.

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
