What will you get to do?
This role will provide a great opportunity to learn about the breadth of engineering tasks involved in constructing, designing and maintaining an electricity distribution network. From supporting customer-led projects to gaining firsthand experience in commissioning network upgrades, you will be exposed to the full breadth of work undertaken by a Distribution Network Service Provider (DNSP).
The scope of the work will be tailored to leverage the successful applicant’s experience, skills, and interests.
Type of experience or educational background we are looking for
- Electrical Engineering degree (recently completed, or currently in progress), preferably with a focus on power systems, electrical distribution networks, energy systems, or a closely related discipline.
- Degrees with a strong power systems component, such as those offered through specialised power engineering programs, will be viewed favourably.
- Knowledge of GIS or ArcFM systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be in the process of completing an undergraduate degree from a university – completing your penultimate year of study.
- Have Australian working rights (note: candidates on student visas are welcome to apply)
