Working to ensure the effective scheduling of works and resources to satisfy customer, Evoenergy and statutory compliance. This role will liaise with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure best delivery practices are being undertaken, adherence to Standard Job guidelines for optimal efficiency gains and maintains a high schedule loading measure that ensures the utilisation of staff.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Ensure adherence to Standard Jobs and Schedule Loading guidelines, specific to the type of work being scheduled.  
  • Schedule in line with the standardised scheduling and works preparation processes using common tools (Cityworks) and all developed guidelines and support materials 
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the other Schedulers and Works Preparers to effectively schedule the resources for all works issued in accordance with the agreed priorities and timeframes, and to optimise the work loaded into work schedules 
  • Schedule works and resources in line with the principles of pooled trades, sharing resources across sections as determined by the priorities placed on works, and through consultation with the other Schedulers as required. 
  • Work closely with the Reactive Controller and other divisions of Evoenergy when required to allocate resources for reactive works or other short-term notice works, leveraging the structure of reactive/maintenance teams.  
  • Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

  • Proficiency in use of desktop applications such as Cityworks and systems and considerable analytical experience in prioritising work.  
  • Working understanding of the principles of effective scheduling, planning, work implementation and resource management. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills. 
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex challenges with innovative and effective solutions
