Technical Officer – Zone Substations
Evoenergy is looking for a Technical Officer – Zone Substations to join the Network Services team.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of the maintenance program for:
- Zone substation primary assets,
- Zone and distribution protection systems,
- Field reclosers and automated switches,
- Zone and distribution DC auxiliary battery systems, and
- Zone AC auxiliary backup generator systems.
- Maintain and update relay test instructions (RTIs) and protection relay settings in Power Systems Centre (PSC).
- Provide expert technical assistance to staff and contractors on primary and secondary systems maintenance including fault finding and testing.
- Audit and enforce standards and record keeping for all aspects of primary and secondary systems maintenance.

Our ideal candidate:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (essential) or Associate Degree / Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge, understanding and proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external customers and contractors
- Demonstrated experience in construction and maintenance of electricity distribution systems including primary and secondary systems
