Evoenergy is seeking a strategic, and commercially minded Integrated Works Planner to join the Works Planning & Coordination team within Works Enablement. This role is responsible for transforming Evoenergy's Portfolio Investment Plan into a coordinated and deliverable program of work, balancing customer demand, asset investment priorities, workforce capacity, delivery constraints and business objectives.
About the role
Integrated Works Planning sits at the centre of Evoenergy's planning-to-delivery lifecycle. The role provides the critical link between strategic planning and operational delivery by determining when work should occur, identifying delivery constraints, balancing demand and capacity, and developing a rolling 24-month delivery program. Working closely with Asset Management, Customer Delivery, Program Delivery, Network Delivery and Finance, you will provide governance, forecasting and planning expertise that enables the efficient delivery of Evoenergy's portfolio of customer, maintenance, replacement, inspection and project works.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Evoenergy's rolling Integrated Works Plan, providing a 24-month view of planned delivery activities.
- Transform the Portfolio Investment Plan into a balanced and deliverable program of work through strategic planning, sequencing and optimisation.
- Forecast work demand and resource capacity across customer works, maintenance, inspections, replacement programs, defects, reactive works and major projects.
- Identify and manage delivery constraints including labour availability, outages, customer commitments, design readiness, material availability and network considerations.
- Facilitate portfolio governance, program reviews and planning forums to support business decision-making and delivery certainty.
- Provide strategic recommendations on insourcing, outsourcing and resource optimisation to maximise delivery outcomes.
- Drive strategic works grouping and delivery optimisation opportunities across the portfolio to improve efficiency and minimise community impact.
- Support planning governance, forecasting maturity, reporting improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across Works Enablement.
- Collaborate with Works Preparation and Scheduling teams to ensure smooth handover of delivery-ready programs and effective execution planning.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, portfolio planning, resource planning, program delivery or project controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to manage competing priorities and constraints.
- Experience balancing demand, capacity and delivery constraints within a complex operational environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience in forecasting, governance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- An understanding of utility, infrastructure, engineering, construction or field service delivery environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, project management, commerce or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
