Evoenergy is looking for motivated, adaptable tradespeople who thrive in a dynamic environment responding to network faults when it matters most and delivering high‑quality construction and maintenance work across our network.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong technical skills, real-world field experience, and a proactive, can‑do attitude who’s eager to keep learning and growing.

You’ll play a key part in setting the standard for safety, quality, and teamwork, using your strong communication skills to positively influence how work gets done every day

Key responsibilities: 

• Safety, compliance, and site management: Apply Evoenergy Service & Installation Rules, implement site and safety procedures, manage resources, and take accountability for task completion.
• Network installation and operations: Install, connect, and disconnect overhead and underground services between the Evoenergy distribution network and customer premises.
• Team leadership and collaboration: Participate in daily site meetings, promote positive safety and workplace behaviours, build effective working relationships, and contribute to work and safety instructions.
• Training and support: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members and perform other duties within skills, competence, and training
• Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate: 

We encourage applications from employees who possess: 

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Systems Electrician
• Experience in construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure as a lineworker and as a fitter
• High risk license – EWP 
• OH&S General Induction Card
• Current ACT motor vehicle licence or equivalent
