- Remuneration : $191,640 - $208,413 plus 16% superannuation (salary above the base dependant on skills and experience)

Evoenergy is seeking a visionary Program Manager – Distribution System Operator (DSO) to lead a multi-year transformation program that will shape the future of our electricity network. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategic change, enhance grid visibility, and enable orchestration of Consumer Energy Resources (CER) across our network.
About the Role
As Program Manager – DSO, you will lead the delivery of Evoenergy’s Future Networks CER roadmap, focusing on dynamic operating envelopes, grid visibility, and operational readiness. You’ll champion innovation, governance, and strategic alignment, ensuring the transformation portfolio delivers measurable value to our customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the DSO transformation portfolio, aligning initiatives with corporate strategy and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage and mentor the DSO Project Management team to ensure high performance and capability uplift.
- Prioritise and sequence work across the portfolio to maximise value and manage interdependencies.
- Drive delivery of program milestones with a focus on innovation, quality, and operational readiness.
- Monitor KPIs and report on budget, performance, risks, and benefits realisation.
- Engage stakeholders across Evoenergy and externally to foster support and collaboration.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and regulatory changes to inform strategic direction.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of electricity distribution systems and CER orchestration.
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects in large organisations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Technical expertise in future grid systems, including IT/OT integration and DERMS.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and external resources.
Desirable:
- Formal project management certification (PMI, PMP, PRINCE2).
- Extensive contract management and negotiation experience.
- Understanding of the DSO model and its strategic implications.
