Trade Assistant

As a Trade Assistant you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergy’s Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Carry out works in a timely and safe manner, and to highest quality standards, while minimising customer impact.
• Demonstrate positive workplace/worksite behaviours in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Develop good working relationships with colleagues and peers to facilitate information exchange, problem solving and professional support.
• Actively contribute to the development of work/safety instructions as required and in consultation with the Site Lead.
• Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training as directed. 

Our ideal candidate: 

• You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment 
• Experience in working in the electrical industry preferred, though not essential
• OH&S General Induction Card
•  Asbestos Awareness Training
•  ACT Driver’s Licence or equivalent
