The Contract Services Officer plays a key role within the Contract Management Services (CMS) team in the Works Enablement Group. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Evoenergy’s critical operational contracts, ensuring compliance and performance. Working collaboratively across ActewAGL Distribution, the team facilitates seamless contract transitions, supports efficient delivery of works, and upholds contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Contract & Project Support: Assist with external contract management, including contractor liaison, contract administration, and setting up contract management plans.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation (approval memos, reports, meeting minutes), ensure version control, and validate invoices for milestone achievements.
  • Data & Compliance: Analyse and interpret data for decision-making, apply legislative and policy requirements, conduct risk assessments, and maintain contract management tools to track milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement: Build positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders, contribute to business processes, support change management initiatives, and promote organisational culture and values.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Qualifications & Industry Knowledge: Certificate IV in Business Administration, Contract Administration, Project Management, or equivalent, with experience in energy utilities, construction, or similar industries.
  • Technical & Communication Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organisational Strengths: Strong time management, attention to detail, and accuracy, complemented by effective organisational skills.
