As a part of the Ground Assets section, within Network Services Group, you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergy’s Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of sustaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.  

Key responsibilities:

• The installation of services from Evoenergy distribution network to customers premises
• Timely completion of all record keeping documentation which includes work order and task completion, vehicle log sheets, timesheets etc
• Be willing to complete the relevant training and authorisation for HV and LV field switching and apply these skills as part of the core role.
• Zone and distribution substation construction and maintenance
• Participate in on-call & shift-work rosters as necessary based on Evoenergy policy.
• Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate: 

• Minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician and Certificate III ESI – Distribution Cable Jointing
• An unrestricted ACT Electrical License or the ability to obtain one.
• Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure.
