There is the expectation to be in the office full time initially, and on a regular ongoing basis. Once trained there is possibilities to WFH part time as long as performance is maintained.

Evoenergy is looking for a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail to join their Embedded Generation Team as an Embedded Generation Technical Support Officer. Gaining technical knowledge and an understanding of the business, this the perfect position for a candidate looking to gain experience in the energy distribution sector. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Complete technical reviews and tasks associated with customer initiated small residential solar and battery embedded generation applications. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory process requirements including timeframes. 
  • Assist with the embedded generation team’s projects, ensuring that the customer’s requirements and Evoenergy’s business objectives are met. 
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Providing advice and technical assistance to internal business units. 
  • Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training. 

 

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Advanced Diploma, or equivalent experience, in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
  • Exposure to embedded generation, such as solar, in either distribution or customer installation design. 
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in customer relationships
  • Able to effectively manage workload and deliver quality outcomes in a high-volume setting.
  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. 
  • Ability to problem solve and a strong attention to detail.
