The Apprentice Team Lead is responsible for the supervision, liaison, coordination and reporting on all elements of the Apprentice Training Program and provides continuous support to Apprentices over the 4-year apprenticeship cycle. Including developing and maintaining training plans, managing compliance with timesheets and e-Profiling, coordinating inductions and rotation schedules, and ensuring accurate regulatory reporting and budget monitoring.
Key responsibilities:
- Apprentice Guidance & Performance Management; Lead and support apprentices throughout their 4-year program, managing performance, attendance, and development to meet individual and company objectives.
- Training & Development Coordination; Create and monitor individual training plans with RTOs and ANPs, track outcomes, identify gaps, and contextualize training materials to align with Evoenergy practices.
- Program Planning & Administration; Develop rotation schedules, manage inductions, ensure compliance with timesheets and e-Profiling, and oversee regulatory reporting and budget monitoring.
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning; Collaborate with Talent and Capability Team on attraction, selection, onboarding, and strategic workforce planning for future apprentice needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Culture Leadership; Communicate program updates to managers and stakeholders, conduct field visits and toolbox talks, and champion Evoenergy’s culture principles as a mentor and role model.

Our ideal candidate:
- Competent in office based IT applications such as outlook, word, excel, TEAMs
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and ESI industry training framework.
- A Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Overhead, Certificate III in Electrotechnology, Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Cable Jointing or equivalent
- Holding or willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience in leading or mentoring staff in the delivery of works in the electricity industry
