Evoenergy is seeking a Team Lead Operational Learning Services to develop and deliver the capability frameworks and learning programs we need to support the safety, skills and engagement of our workforce. You’ll oversee the delivery of key programs including the Electrical Workers Competency Framework (EWCF), Core and Mandatory (training) Framework, and Verification of Competency (VOC), ensuring the business maintains the capability it needs now and into the future.
Working closely with leaders across Evoenergy, you’ll ensure training programs reflect operational needs and industry standards. You’ll lead a team that supports apprentices, trainees, and technical staff, and manage relationships with external training providers and RTOs. This role combines strategic oversight, operational coordination, and team leadership to ensure learning services are effective, future-focused, and aligned with business priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of operational learning frameworks, including competency and authorisation programs.
- Oversee the implementation and governance of the EWCF, Core and Mandatory Framework, and VOC programs to ensure compliance and capability.
- Manage internal and external training resources, including apprenticeships and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partnerships, to meet operational and regulatory needs.
- Collaborate across Evoenergy to align learning programs with technical, safety, and operational requirements.
- Monitor and report on training performance, budgets, and outcomes, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
- Foster a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and capability development.

Our ideal candidate:
- Qualifications in vocational/adult learning or higher education in engineering, management, or law, with experience in competency frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing learning teams and programs in the electricity industry.
- Knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training sector and experience applying training packages in operational settings.
- Proven ability to translate technical content into clear, practical training materials.
- Desirable qualifications include Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and auditor or lead investigator credentials.
