About the role:
As a Protection Technician at Evoenergy, you will construct, service, and maintain the ACT’s electricity network, advancing towards a net zero future.
As a part of the Network Services team, you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergy’s Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.
A day in the life:
- Perform Protection Technician work activities involving the construction and maintenance of Evoenergy’s Electricity Network.
- Effectively communicate and cooperate with all stakeholders to ensure site safety.

Our ideal candidate:
- You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Advanced Diploma of Electrotechnology (highly desired), Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of the operation and maintenance of electricity network infrastructure and field operations and high-level knowledge of construction and protection standards.
- Experience in construction works as an Electrical Fitter.
- OH&S General Induction Card
- Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness training
