Evoenergy have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Support Officer to join their Customer Delivery team.

About the role: 

The Group Support Officer is responsible for providing business support to the Group. The position will provide a range of support functions including involvement in strategic and business improvement initiatives, meeting coordination and minutes, collation of information, report creation, records management, and other support functions as required. The focus of the Group Support Officer is to work closely with the Group Manager to support the Group’s goals and processes to best enable continuous improvement and the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of work. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide administrative support to the Group Manager to facilitate the objectives of Evoenergy 

• Provide secretarial support to the Group Manager and Section Managers 

• Provide project and contract administrative support 

• Provide governance, consistency and structure to business processes and documentation 

• Champion improvement to governance, consistency and structure to business processes and documentation 

• Prepare formal documentation and communication including minutes, memorandums, work methods, policies and procedures 

• Conduct data analysis, trending and reporting where required to inform memorandums, work methods or policy and procedure review 

About you: 

Essential: 

• Qualifications in office administration support 

• Experience as an office manager, executive assistant or general administrative duties. 

• Experience in working unsupervised, managing competing priorities, and liaising with a variety of stakeholders 

• Sound knowledge and experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications 

• Ability to sensitively handle confidential information 

Desirable:  

• Knowledge of best practice administrative procedures and systems 

• Experience in business and process improvement 

• Experience using Oracle financial software systems 

• Ability to quickly learn new software systems
