Project Engineer

As a part of the Network Delivery Group you will undertake a variety of works associated with the design and construction of Evoenergy’s Electrical Distribution Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.  

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed project briefs, estimates and associated documentation for assigned projects, ensuring that the customer’s requirements and Evoenergy’s business objectives are met.
• Perform calculations and assessments for various design criteria for overhead lines, structures, switchgear and transformers.
• Provide technical support and advice to delivery teams as required.
• Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate: 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) however an Advanced Diploma, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering is acceptable as a minimum.
• Demonstrated experience, strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry, particularly in regard to customer initiated electricity network infrastructure works
• Established understanding and proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience, strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry.
• You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
