We're looking for a skilled leader to manage Evoenergy’s Works Planning and Coordination Section. In this role, you'll oversee the planning and scheduling of customer and network-initiated projects ensuring efficient delivery of our Portfolio Investment Plan. Reporting to the Group Manager, Works Enablement, you'll play a key role in enabling timely and effective electrical infrastructure outcomes.

Join us in a pivotal role where you'll lead high-impact projects that drive and accelerate our electrification journey.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead a critical team overseeing Works Planning, Preparation, and Scheduling within Evoenergy.
  • Manage the full pipeline of customer and network-initiated projects, including augmentation, maintenance, and inspections.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of the Portfolio Investment Plan (PIP) through strategic planning and coordination.
  • Report directly to the Group Manager, Works Enablement, contributing to infrastructure outcomes across the network.
  • Play a key role in enabling timely, effective project execution that supports Evoenergy’s broader strategic goals.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in project or program management / operations and demonstrated high level financial acumen; and/or demonstrated extensive experience developing and managing $50m+ Capital and Operational programs of work
  •  Expert knowledge in the operation and maintenance of electricity network infrastructure and field operations.
  • Ability to think both tactically and strategically to develop both operational and strategic plans considering Evoenergy’s risk management requirements. 
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills within an industrially complex environment, including motivating and influencing others to deliver required outcomes.
  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
