About the Role
We are looking for a motivated individual – one who loves understanding and solving customer challenges through the application of GIS knowledge. Someone with a proven history of consistently delivering solutions with strong and positive client outcomes, to join Singapore’s largest pool of geospatial solution experts.

You will get to work with a highly skilled and diverse team, the latest Esri technology, and interact with organisations across a wide range of industries that include transportation, public safety, government, utilities, insurance, the natural environment, and retail.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Incident and Problem Management:
- Serve as the Level 3 (L3) escalation point for complex Incident and Problem cases, providing expert analysis and resolution to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the Managed Services team to develop proactive measures for preventing recurring issues and enhancing system reliability.
2. Software Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions to address customer needs and enhance the overall performance of GIS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize existing code, and ensure the seamless integration of software components.
3. Technical Leadership:
- Act as a technical mentor and leader within the team, providing guidance and expertise to junior engineers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the development process.
4. Client Interaction:
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, troubleshooting issues, and provide technical support.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of software components to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
6. Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software solutions, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
About You
Reporting to the Client Delivery Manager, Managed Services, you will offer a Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on scalable and high-performance applications.
To be successful in this role with us, you will bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on scalable and high-performance applications.
- Strong passion for detailed, innovative, and empathic design, supported by a well-rounded design background (interaction, UI, visual, and motion design)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with frequent releases and tight schedules
- Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Proven experience in Level 3 support for Incident and Problem management
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as ReactJS, .NET, or Python
- Good understanding of ArcGIS Javascript API, ArcPy would be an advantage
- Solid understanding of GIS concepts and technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
