About the Role

As an Industry Solutions Consultant, you will help customers solve real-world business challenges with innovative geospatial solutions. Working closely with customers, sales, partners, and technical teams, you will provide industry expertise, shape solution strategies, and support the successful adoption of GIS technologies across key industries.

The key responsibilities include:

• The Industry Consultant advice Esri Malaysia and its’ clients on the use and delivery of geospatial business solution based on the industry needs and trends.
• The Consultant will be responsible for the industry solutioning framework design aligned to the country’s market demands.
• The Industry Consultant will work closely with sales, partners, solution and industry service delivery to ensure that the proposed industry solutions accurately address the industry needs and are appropriately supported by the key industry players and decision-makers.
• The Industry Consultant will lead the design of the industry solutions and advisory role in Esri Malaysia, supporting Esri Malaysia throughout the sales and delivery process including but not limited to, sales support, bid support, technologies updates, events & conferences and technical advisory that is required by the assigned industry.

About You - Applicants must be local Malaysian to be considered for this role.

Customer-focused and solution-driven, you have experience designing and presenting geospatial solutions that address business needs. You enjoy working with customers and cross-functional teams, have a good understanding of industry trends, and are passionate about using GIS technology to deliver value.  What we’re looking for:

• Degree in GIS/Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering.
• Between 3 to 6 years of related working experience
• Experience in industry solution design and pre-sales engagement.
• Strong understanding of industry workflows, market trends, and key stakeholders
• Familiarity with Esri products and complementary industry solutions
• Knowledge of industry compliance, principles, and competitive landscape
• Ability to translate customer business needs into effective geospatial solutions
• Confident in conducting solution demonstrations and presentations
• Proactive in supporting customers as a technical and industry advocate
