About the Role
What you'll do:
- Analyze and interpret large-scale geospatial datasets from satellite, aerial, or drone imagery, and GIS databases.
- Apply statistical, geostatistical, and machine learning techniques to identify spatial patterns and trends.
- Build spatial prediction and classification models (e.g., land cover mapping, suitability analysis, risk modeling).
- Develop and automate geospatial workflows using Python, R, or other scripting languages
- Design and implement machine learning models tailored for spatial data (e.g., object detection in imagery, change detection, clustering).
- Implement deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for geospatial tasks like semantic segmentation.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to integrate models and tools into enterprise systems or web applications.
About You
We believe that to be successful in this role you will need:
- Degree in Geographical Information System/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science or a related discipline.
- Working experience of at least 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years working experience using or modeling using Machine Learning & Deep Learning.
- Strong knowledge in following areas:
o Raster image analysis
o Image change detection
o Image classification, enhancement, segmentation
o Python scripting
o Parallel computing for Machine Learning
- Familiar with Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) workflows.
- Knowledge in Jupyter-notebook is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in RBDMS such as SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSql is an added advantage.
- Able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Possess a good learning attitude and keen to take on technical challenges.
