About the Role

What you'll do:

  • Support the design, configuration, and deployment of ArcGIS solutions for electric utilities.
  • Implement and test components of the ArcGIS Utility Network, including migration from geometric networks or 3rd party formats.
  • Perform spatial data analysis, editing, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of electric network data.
  • Contribute to map and application development using tools like ArcGIS Pro, FME and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Integrate ArcGIS with enterprise systems such as Outage Management Systems (OMS), Work Management Systems (WMS), and SCADA.
  • Support field mobility solutions (e.g., ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcFM).
  • To be able to carry out database design and data modeling tasks for both object and relational spatial databases.

About You

We believe that to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Degree in Geographical Information System/Geomatic/Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Working experience of 7–10 years in GIS with at least 5–7 years in the electric utility domain
  • Proficiency in the Esri ArcGIS platform, particularly ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Working knowledge of electric utility operations, such as asset management, inspections, or outage tracking.
  • Sound knowledge in electric utility domain.
  • Experience with geodatabases, spatial data models, and coordinate systems.
  • Familiar with data conversion tools such as ArcGIS Data Interoperability or FME.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess good communication skills.
