We are looking for professional sales individuals who are customer-oriented and collaborative team players who enjoy identifying and implementing strategies that will radically improve the challenges businesses face and deliver real-world value and impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for ArcGIS software licenses, subscriptions, and services.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within target industries (e.g., government, utilities, telecommunications, urban planning, defense, education, real estate, etc.).
- Proactively engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions of ArcGIS capabilities, tailored to client requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales opportunities.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Esri Bangladesh and network with potential clients.
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their continued success and satisfaction with ArcGIS solutions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional ArcGIS products, extensions, and services.
- Provide excellent post-sales support, working closely with the technical and support teams to ensure client success and retention.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands related to GIS and IT software in Bangladesh.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to increase ArcGIS brand awareness and lead generation.
- Provide market feedback to product and technical teams to inform future development and solution offerings.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including pre-sales technical specialists, marketing, professional services, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Leverage Esri's global resources and best practices to enhance local sales efforts.
About You
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will offer a minimum5 - 8 years of proven experience for Account Manager in software sales (ERP, CRM, SAAS model, Cloud solutions etc.) selling complex enterprise software solutions. Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
To be successful in this role with us, you will bring along:
- Masters / bachelor’s degree in: Business Administration; Marketing; MIS, IT or a related field.
- Well established network in B2B / B2G market.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of proven experience for Account Manager in software sales (ERP, CRM, SAAS model, Cloud solutions etc.) selling complex enterprise software solutions. (Candidates with less than 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for a Sales Executive role)
- Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Functional understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts and the capabilities of Esri's ArcGIS platform.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strategic thinking with an ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Willing to travel outside of the city to manage and close new opportunities from Government / private sectors.
- Proficiency in English and Bengali (both written and verbal).
