About the Role

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to lift how Boustead Geospatial is found across search engines and AI-driven discovery. In this role, you’ll turn search insight into action - optimising pages, sharpening content, and improving the web experience to grow qualified traffic and support conversion. It’s a great fit for someone hands-on, commercially minded, and ready to make a visible impact. 

  • Optimise website content using best practice in SEO, GEO and content design to improve discoverability, engagement and conversion. 
  • Review and uplift page structure, headings, metadata, internal linking and on-page copy to support search intent and user needs. 
  • Partner with the Integrated Communications team to adapt and refine content so it performs effectively in a web environment. 
  • Identify content improvement opportunities through analytics, search insights and performance data. 
  • Make recommendations to improve user journeys, page effectiveness and conversion pathways across the website. 
  • Work with digital and technical stakeholders to help translate business and user needs into effective web outcomes.  


About You  

You are a detail-oriented, digitally minded content professional with a passion for creating clear, effective, and high-performing web experiences. You combine strong writing capability with a practical understanding of SEO, GEO, and digital marketing, enabling you to create content that performs for both users and the business. 

What we need from you:  

  • 4+ years in SEO, organic search optimisation, digital performance, or closely related digital roles with strong on-page SEO expertise (B2B/tech/agency experience is a bonus). 
  • Strong ability to write and optimise clear, effective, SEO-friendly web copy, including landing pages, headings, metadata, and calls to action 
  • Practical understanding of UX principles, usability, and information architecture, and how they influence SEO performance and on-page engagement.  
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, intent mapping, on-page optimisation, internal linking, and content architecture.  
  • Practical experience applying GEO/AEO techniques to improve performance in AI-assisted search.  
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, Contentstack, or Contentful.  
  • Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, analytics platforms, Hotjar, or similar to diagnose performance and prioritise improvements.  
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism, or a related field. Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism, or a related field. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong stakeholder skills and ability to work collaboratively. 
  • You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
