About the Role 

The Human Resources Officer helps bring the company’s people strategy to life by supporting HR programs across the employee lifecycle. This role contributes to initiatives that foster a compelling and high-performing work environment, with a particular focus on digital innovation to enhance HR operations and organisational productivity. The HR Officer also provides expert guidance to staff and managers on HR policies, remuneration, benefits, and staff development. 

Here’s a snapshot of what your role will involve: 

Systems 

  • Support the implementation and upkeep of the HR Information System under guidance of the HR Manager.  
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of core HR systems. 
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business on the implementation of company systems.

People & Capability 

  • Partner with business managers to support change management and consultation through various HR projects. 
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding (including in-depth Exit Interviews), and cross-boarding processes. 
  • Support the development and rollout of employee engagement initiatives. 
  • Analyse program outcomes and collaborate with leaders to refine initiatives. 

Data & Analytics 

  • Provide data analysis and reporting on Exit Interviews, Pulse Surveys, turnover, headcount, and other metrics. 
  • Support data collection, data analysis and reporting on employee wellbeing. 

General 

  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. 
  • Contribute to other HR tasks as required. 
  • Deliver services aligned with our Client Experience Delivery Principles: consistency, collaboration, expertise, and ease. 

About You 

We are seeking a people-focused and service-driven HR Officer to support a broad range of HR initiatives. If you're passionate about creating a positive employee experience and have a strong interest in HR systems and data-driven improvements, we’d love to hear from you. 

What we need from you: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or HR discipline. 
  • 1–2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
  • A strong interest in HR systems; experience in HR system implementation is highly desirable. 
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service and outcome delivery. 
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Solid knowledge of Australian employment law
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a high level of initiative
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and remain calm under pressure. 
  • Discreet and trustworthy with a strong sense of confidentiality. 
  • Reliable, resilient, results driven with immaculate professional presentation. 
  • You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
