We have an exciting opening within our Marketing team for a talented content creator, writer and storyteller looking to grow their expertise in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation.


About the Role 

As our Content Specialist (Events), your day will be dynamic and varied, filled with opportunities to support across a range of marketing and content creating initiatives. You’ll support in the logistics and communications for in-person and virtual events, create compelling content, and optimise performance using analytics and SEO.

Here’s what a typical day will look like: 

  • Logistics for in-person Australian events: Support the Event Content Manager in the logistical delivery of in-person Australian events, including the development of both pre- and post-event communications.
  • Communications for virtual events: Working with the Event Content Manager, develop, design and deliver communications for virtual events across both Australia and Asia Pacific.
  • Write a broad range of content: Create marketing customer-facing and internal content to support the business including social media posts, video scripts, website copy and external newsletters and internal updates. 
  • Support content marketing delivery: Assist in the delivery of marketing programs for lead generation, webpage updates, and nurture campaigns.
  • Leverage analytics and SEO strategies: Use analytics and SEO strategies to optimise the reach and effectiveness of all content developed.
  • Compliance: Ensure all content complies with Group brand, marketing, and operational requirements.


About You  

We are seeking a creative and detail-driven Event Content Specialist who thrives on crafting compelling narratives and blending creativity with strategy to deliver impactful content across live and virtual events. If you’re passionate about storytelling, love collaborating with thought leaders, and have a knack for turning ideas into impactful agendas, we’d love to hear from you.

What we need from you:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of B2B marketing and content experience, preferably in a commercial environment. Proven experience in developing and editing content across multiple mediums, including copywriting for online, video production, case studies, and social media.
  • Degree: A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a relevant business subject.
  • Content production expertise: Superior communication skills with excellent grammar, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of balancing workflow productivity and output quality.
  • Curiosity and insight: A keen eye for spotting emerging trends and a passion for uncovering stories that showcase the value of geospatial technology.
  • Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to remain professional under pressure.
  • Technical skills: Hands-on experience with marketing automation software and/or exposure to the technology sector are an advantage.
  • Eligibility: You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
