There’s never been a better time to be in energy. And there’s never been a more exciting time to be at Endeavour Energy.

More than 2.7 million people across New South Wales rely on us every day for the supply of safe and reliable power to their homes and businesses. We employ more than 1,700 people across our catchment, making us one of the largest employers in Sydney’s Greater West.

To work with us in this role, you don’t need to have any energy experience. We need talented people who are ready for challenge and growth and value a sense of care and belonging. Why? Because our vision is to lead the way with smarter energy solutions. Play your part in helping us to put the customer first and transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future for us all.

Join our dynamic Future Networks and Markets team and play a pivotal role in driving the energy transition. As a Future Grid Engineer, you’ll lead the delivery of cutting-edge projects and technology platforms that transform how energy flows through our network.

You’ll turn bold ideas into real-world solutions, applying your technical expertise and data analytics skills to tackle challenges like energy storage, electrification, and demand flexibility. You’ll be at the forefront of emerging technologies, helping to optimise network performance and deliver smarter, more sustainable outcomes for customers.

We are recruiting for multiple roles within the team with opportunities to focus on several priority areas:

·      Digital integrations and utilities server operations – In this role you’ll establish brand-new functions within the business focused on digital integrations, control systems and utility server management. You’ll lead the design and delivery of key platforms, API implementation, and technologies that enhance our network’s intelligence and flexibility. This is a rare opportunity to build a high-impact capability from the ground up, scaling up our MVP into a robust product, and influence how digital infrastructure supports our energy future.

·      Innovation Project Development and Delivery - This role offers the chance to work across a broad range of strategic initiatives within the group. You’ll contribute to identifying, developing, and delivering innovative projects in areas like Community Batteries, E-mobility, and Consumer Energy Resources (CER) flexibility enablement, using your technical expertise and analytical skills to optimise network performance and deliver smarter outcomes for customers.
