About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic leader to shape and manage the Totex (Total Expenditure) Enterprise Portfolio. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and balancing investment plans, unconstrained, constrained, and optimised, across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons. Key accountabilities
- Manage the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Value Framework
- Develop and maintain the Enterprise Portfolio Lifecycle process
- Lead and facilitate the development of an unconstrained Enterprise investment portfolio
- Facilitate investment scenario modelling (Capex and Opex) for Executive to inform and guide Enterprise Portfolio decisions
- Produce a prioritised Enterprise Portfolio aligned to Executive guidance, Corporate Planning timeframes and Strategic objectives
- Guide development of quantified risk-based models, tools and systems for assessing, prioritising and optimising Portfolio expenditure levels, including assessment of the trade-off between risk and capital (Capex) and operational (Opex) expenditure.
- Develop and maintain reporting on the Enterprise Portfolio including medium to long term resource demands
- Contribute to the preparation of the organisation’s Regulatory Proposals and regulatory reporting requirements
- Manage the regulatory investment test (RIT-D) process for both augmentation and replacement investments.
- Facilitate the development and annual publishing of the Distribution Annual Planning Report (DAPR)

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering / Business, Commerce and/or Economics
Licences / tickets
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar/professional role within the Consulting, Energy/Electrical or Utilities industries.
