About the role
In this pivotal role, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Portfolio Master Scheduler to join our team. This critical role involves developing and maintaining the Enterprise Strategic Plan, which provides a strategic overview of the Enterprise Portfolio, assures efficient delivery, and informs strategic investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Framework, Standards, Templates:
- Continuously maintain and enhance scheduling and dependency frameworks, templates, and processes to facilitate the efficient delivery of programs and projects.
- Uphold the standards and guidelines for scheduling management, including tools and systems with version control, ensuring compliance with the required templates and protocols.
Enterprise Portfolio Master Schedule:
- Develop and maintain the Enterprise Portfolio Master Schedule, providing visibility on strategic milestones and interdependencies across the Portfolio, ensuring efficient deployment of resources and equipment.
- Develop and integrate cost control principles and processes such as Earned Value Management, unit rates, and schedule risk analysis. Aligning cost and schedule baselines is essential for effective project management, as changes in one area may necessitate adjustments in the other.
- Develop and maintain a view of EPMO delivery resource demand driven by schedule data to inform resourcing and investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain an Enterprise single view of change driven by schedule data to inform resourcing and investment decisions.
- Maintain the Enterprise Integrated Portfolio Master Schedule and Integrated Master Resource Plan using MS Project online and manage all related administration tasks for Project for the Web App application end-to-end.

About you

- Minimum qualifications
- Degree in Business /Project Management or equivalent
- Certified in Microsoft Project (Advanced)
Experience:
- Extensive experience (10 years) scheduling experience with relevant experience as Master Scheduler for a complex multi-disciplinary Portfolio
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and systemic issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project online and Project for the Web App.
- Knowledge of cost control principles and processes, including Earned Value Management.
- Influence others with a fair and considered approach and present persuasive counter-argument
- Sound knowledge of project management disciplines and methodology.
