There’s never been a better time to be in energy. And there’s never been a more exciting time to be at Endeavour Energy.

More than 2.7 million people across New South Wales rely on us every day for the supply of safe and reliable power to their homes and businesses. We employ more than 1,700 people across our catchment, making us one of the largest employers in Sydney’s Greater West.

We need talented people who care about one another and the work they do. Why? Because we’re one of Australia's fastest growing networks, connecting 20,000 new customers each year, including the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. And when we power together, we go further, faster; towards a smarter, more sustainable future for us all.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and systems-minded Enterprise Investment Systems Analyst to support the platforms that underpin Endeavour Energy’s long-term investment planning and project delivery.

In this role, you’ll help manage and enhance core systems such as Copperleaf CPM and SAP to ensure our data, workflows, and tools support effective decision-making across investments, project delivery, and regulatory reporting.

Whether you're early in your career and looking to grow, or you already bring experience in enterprise systems, analytics, or capital planning, this is an exciting opportunity to work across infrastructure, systems, and strategy — all within a supportive and purpose-driven environment.

Key Accountabilities

Enterprise Investment Systems

  • Support day-to-day operation and enhancement of investment planning systems (e.g., Copperleaf, SAP).
  • Assist in implementing and testing configuration changes (e.g., value models, optimisation engine, workflow updates).
  • Deliver and support Portfolio to Project processes in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, including project setup, WBS structures, and work orders
  • Provide end-user support and training to stakeholders including analysts, and investment proponents.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, escalate where necessary, and liaise with IT and vendors on fixes and enhancements.
  • Contribute to system improvement projects, data migrations, and integration activities.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to implement clear, accountable processes that support enterprise outcomes.

Asset Management System (AMS)

  • Assist in development & implementation of Endeavour Energy’s Asset Management System.
  • Conduct annual reviews to streamline and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate accreditation and annual audits to meet asset management standards.
  • Perform internal audits against AS ISO 55001 to drive continual improvement and maintain certification.
  • About you

You’re a detail-oriented analyst with a passion for how systems can support better planning and smarter decisions. You may have a background in finance, business systems, engineering, or project controls — and you're comfortable navigating both technical systems and business needs.

You bring:

  • The ability to troubleshoot issues, translate business needs into technical requirements, and support system users.
  • Curiosity to learn new platforms and an interest in how planning frameworks (like NPV, VCR, CECV) translate into system logic.
  • A collaborative mindset — you're comfortable working across IT, planning, and operations.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems like SAP, Copperleaf, PPM, or other project/portfolio platforms – this is desired but not essential

Experience in a regulated or infrastructure-focused environment (e.g., energy, water, transport) is a bonus, but not essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline

 Skills & Experience

We’re open to applicants at different stages in their career — whether you’re building on 1–2 years of experience or looking to take the next step as a systems analyst.

You may bring:

  • Experience or exposure to enterprise platforms like SAP, Copperleaf, Oracle, Maximo, or Power BI
  • Strong Excel and data handling skills, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of (or interest in) investment governance, portfolio planning, or project delivery
  • The ability to collaborate across teams, support users, and document processes clearly
  • Experience in asset-intensive industries (e.g. energy, water, transport) is a plus but not essential.
