Distribution Powerline Worker
- Base Salary $83,300 to $94,100 (avg 36 hours per week, 9 day fortnight), + 17% super + allowances and additional benefits.
- Total typical earnings $140,542 to $152,515 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, and not a guarantee of future earnings)
Lineworker
- Base salary: $74,700 – $81,900 (36-hour week, 9-day fortnight) + 17% super + allowances and additional benefits. employer contribution.
- Typical total earnings: $122,255 – $132,669 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, and not a guarantee of future earnings)
Electrical Fitter Mechanic
- Base Salary $83,700 to $94,600 (avg 36 hours per week, 9 day fortnight), + 17% super + allowances and additional benefits.
- Total typical earnings $149,751 to $160,782 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, and not a guarantee of future earnings)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lineworker to join our specialised Transmission team based in Glendenning.
As a Lineworker, you will work on overhead transmission lines up to and including 132kV, undertaking the construction, maintenance, repair and fault recovery of high voltage transmission mains and associated network equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to safety-focused professionals who enjoy working collaboratively and delivering critical infrastructure services to the communities we serve.
Live Line experience is preferred; however Live Line training will be provided to suitable applicants.
This position operates on a 9-day fortnight roster and includes participation in standby rosters and overtime when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain and repair overhead distribution and transmission line assets up to and including 132kV
- Perform live line and de-energised work in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements
- Support fault response and network restoration activities
- Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) and other specialised equipment
- Work effectively within a highly skilled field-based team
- Contribute to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete work in accordance with company procedures, policies and compliance requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A current EWP WorkCover Ticket
- A minimum HR Driver Licence
- Trade qualifications as an experienced Lineworker/Distribution Powerline Worker, or be a multi-skilled Electrical Fitter/Mechanic with significant linework experience
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work collaboratively toward common goals
- Flexibility and adaptability in a multi-skilled environment
- Demonstrated responsibility, accountability and professional maturity
- Strong verbal communication skills
- The ability to follow established procedures and work standards
- Availability to participate in standby rosters and work overtime as required
