In the role of Summer Student – Workplace Services, you will provide essential support to the Workplace Services (WPS) team, assisting with administrative tasks and contributing to special projects that enhance operational efficiency and documentation standards. It’s an excellent job for people who are passionate about workplace operations and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative setting.

Placement Details:

This is a 4 month placement starting in May 2026, located in Chatham, ON.

What you will do:

  • Update and maintain facility guides and evacuation plans.
  • Standardize emergency evacuation maps across all relevant locations.
  • Assist in the creation and organization of documentation for the WPS manual.
  • Provide backup coverage for WPS Coordinators during absences or peak workload.
  • Develop a structured repository for WPS documentation to improve accessibility and version control.
  • Assist in monitoring incoming email inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of buildings to verify standards are being met.
  • Support other tasks and initiatives as directed by the WPS Supervisor.

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Interest in workplace operations, facilities management, or administrative coordination.
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role, located in Chatham, ON.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.

Please note that this is a role providing contract labor to Enbridge through Raise, who manages Enbridge’s Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
