In this role, you will provide comprehensive support in ensuring all requirements for performing assets at Commercial Operation Date (COD) are met. It’s an excellent job for a motivated and detail-oriented individual seeking hands-on experience in the power industry, particularly in project management and commercial operations. 

Placement Details:

This is a 3-month co-op placement starting in June 2024, located in North York, Ontario.

What you will do:

  • Assist in conducting thorough reviews of project documentation, contracts, and agreements to ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, tracking critical milestones, and flagging potential delays or deviations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile and organize project data, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices.
  • Provide general administrative support, including organizing meetings, maintaining project files, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Electrical engineering and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Capability to conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Working Conditions: 

  • Office based role, located in North York, Ontario
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
