In the role of a Summer Student – LP Accounting, you will provide support and assist the Liquids Pipeline Accounting team. It’s an excellent job for a university student majoring in accounting.

Placement Details:

This is a 4 month placement starting in May 2026, located in Calgary, AB.

What you will do:

  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Prepare schedules for month-end and quarter end closing processes
  • Prepare variance analysis for assigned accounts
  • Prepare monthly volumetric reconciliations for industry and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Prepare GAAP financial and regulatory statements as needed, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement
  • Create ad hoc reports and support special projects as requested
  • Maintain appropriate SOX control documentation
  • Work directly and indirectly with Advisors, Sr. Advisors and Managers

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying finance or accounting and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
  • High standards for accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial information.
  • Customer service mindset when supporting leaders and partners across Finance.
  • Collaborative approach; open to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role, located in Calgary
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
