In the role of Digital Media Co-op Student, you will work as part of an innovative and collaborative team to develop the practical skills needed to build your future career in a corporate communications setting. You will work in a team setting with skilled professional communications and brand experts. Additionally, you will be given opportunities to work with our corporate communications, media relations and internal communications team members, gaining cross-functional experience. With this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build your writing, design, multimedia and social media communications skills. You’ll play an active role on a dynamic team with challenging work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  

Placement Details:

This is an 8-month placement starting in May 2026, located in Calgary, AB.

What you will do:

  • Support multimedia content creation for Enbridge’s corporate social media channels.
  • Assist in social media monitoring and reporting using various social media monitoring tools and software.
  • Support the digital team in collecting data and compiling reports on website and social media performance.
  • Support the corporate website with webpage authoring and optimization.
  • Write blog stories for the @enbridge blog channel.
  • Assist in creating engaging graphics and videos for social media using editing tools, ensuring all visuals align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel
  • Support content development by writing and proofing communications materials for digital and traditional channels including corporate documents, reports and ads (digital, print and radio).
  • Research digital and social media trends, best practices, etc. as required.
  • Support the maintenance of the company’s digital asset library, including tagging and uploading imagery.
  • Provide additional support to the Communications team as required.

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Public Relations, Communications, Business or Marketing.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization. Experience writing various communication materials, including social media content and blog/editorial copy.
  • Experience using social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok) is required and experience using social media monitoring software is an asset.
  • Eager to learn website content management systems and HTML coding.
  • Understanding of or willing to learn Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of or willing to learn design software like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Understanding of or willing to learn AI tools like CoPilot and Agentic AI
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and High Performance).
  • You are a self-starter who is accountable and able to work independently.
  • You are eager to learn and contribute to team success.
  • You have high attention to detail and can quickly sift through information for key details.
  • You work well in a team and are highly responsive to correspondence.
  • You are confident with technology and with training, able to quickly learn new software and online tools.  Experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a must.

Working Conditions: 

  • Office based role, located in Calgary, AB.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
