As a Summer Student in Control Centre Operations, you will be responsible for supporting enhancements to the Training Group’s procedures and systems ensuring that Enbridge’s approach to quality training systems continues to meet regulatory requirements through the development of consistent training material and supporting documents.
Placement Details:
- This is a 4-month opportunity beginning in May 2026, located in Edmonton, AB.
What you will do:
- Updating and drafting procedures in an online procedure management tool.
- Uploading regulatory compliance-related training records into a secure database.
- Development of job aids to support training.
- Assist in the development of training and education materials for various stakeholder groups.
- Consolidation of Control Centre training records.
- Compile metrics for evaluating training effectiveness through tools such as Power BI
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Education, Business, Communications, or related disciplines, and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of database administration a plus.
- Well-developed research and analysis skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to take on high workloads.
- Understanding education and training principles would be an asset.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems would be an asset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding training situations and Operators.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Visio and SABA is an asset.
- Experience in Power BI is an asset
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role, located in Edmonton, AB.
