In the role of Instrumentation Engineer Co-op, you will support the Instrumentation team in meeting company goals and requirements. Demostrates personal leadership adhering to Enbridge core values: Integrity, Safety, Respect and Inclusion and high performance.

Placement Details:

This is an 8-month co-op placement starting in May 2026, located in Edmonton, AB.

What you will do:

  • Supports Instrumentation personnel and regional engineers to ensure all instrumentation data is recorded
  • Participate in management of change process that impacts instrumentation data
  • Track and follow up on bad actors via dashboards and other reporting tools. Support Subject Matter Experts in identify and analyzing event data and developing solutions to field issues.
  • Support Supply Chain Management and Project teams with datasheet and vendor document requirements.
  • Utilize the quality management system to eliminate errors, inconsistencies and poor-quality data.

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying a technical degree with a specialization in instrumentation or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.. You will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • An interest in leveraging data to help Enbridge make better decisions
  • Familiar with data visualization software such as Power BI
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with coding in Python.

Working Conditions: 

  • Office based role with occasional travel to construction and or operating sites.
  • Short overnight business and/or field trips.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided. 

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through Raise, who manages Enbridge’s Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
