In the role of Internal Auditor - Summer Student, you will work within a team environment to execute audit engagements within prescribed timelines and in accordance with applicable auditing standards. It’s an excellent job for people who are passionate about auditing and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative setting.
Placement Details:
This is a 4 month placement located in Calgary, AB.
What you will do:
- Work within a team environment to execute audit engagements within prescribed timelines and in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-organized working papers that support audit findings and comply with departmental documentation standards.
- Apply critical thinking to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Support the use of data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency.
- Participate in departmental strategic initiatives or perform special project work at the request of management or the Audit Finance & Risk Committee.
Who you are:
- Demonstrates basic project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible to changing circumstances, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to logically reason, think critically, analyze and evaluate data and information, and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role, located in Calgary, AB.
