In the role of Ethics and Compliance – Summer Intern, you will provide support to Legal Services’ Ethics and Compliance team.  It’s an excellent job for students with an interest in regulatory management and governance. 

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month summer student position starting in May 2026, located in Edmonton, AB.

What you will do:

  • Support implementation of Compliance Management processes, with a focus on Legal Register Management.
  • Support Compliance Management Performance Reporting through data mining and validation.
  • Track business unit compliance using compliance and work management databases.
  • Support data quality management within compliance and work management databases.
  • Support preparation of training materials for stakeholders participating in compliance management processes.

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Law, Political Science, Information Technology, or Engineering and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting competencies.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to collaborate in a (virtual) team environment as well as complete independent assignments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to vary communication pursuant to audience role-level.
  • Familiarity with database structure and management would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with regulatory documentation content and structures would be an asset.
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Working Conditions: 

  • Office-based role, located in Edmonton, AB.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
