Are you a student pursuing a Human Resources Degree or diploma? Are you looking to work for a growth-oriented, innovative and inclusive workplace this summer? As the Human Resources - Summer Student, you will provide support to the Strategic HR Business Partners Team. You will support various HR functions and gain hands-on experience and exposure to HR programs and consulting practices.
Placement Details:
- This is a 4-month placement beginning in May 2026, in Edmonton, AB
What you will do:
- The candidate will experience various aspects including Business Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Culture & Engagement and Change Management.
- Builds presentations, communications and researches information.
- Prepares and analyzes data to provide insights and observations to leaders.
- Assists with preparing and organizing events.
- Collaborates and supports different professionals and Enbridge departments.
- Performs administrative office tasks.
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Human Resources, Human Resources Administration, Business, Business Administration, or related fields, and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
- Ability to prioritize work to support multiple stakeholders in a fast-past environment.
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written.
- Able to build positive relationships with different stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially with handling sensitive documents and company information.
- Positive self-starter. Able to be proactive in assessing team needs and offering support where required.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and decision-making.
- Ability to make suggestions to streamline and continuously improve relevant systems and processes.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong proficiency with MS Teams is a plus.
- Experience with MS Whiteboard, PowerBI, Workday is a plus.
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role in Edmonton, AB.
- Relocation assistance is not provided.
