Field Operations Summer Student

In the role of Operations Summer Student, you will provide operations/terminal maintenance.  It’s an excellent job for Trades/Engineering students or anyone with industrial operational interest.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month summer student starting in May 2024, located in Hardisty, AB.

What you will do:

• Mowing and general site maintenance
• Painting of infrastructure
• Assisting operations with general day to day tasks suck as collecting crude oil samples.
• Learn all about oil pipeline facilities and what day do day operation looks like. 

Who you are: 

• You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
• Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
• Willing and able to perform physical labour.
• Valid fully graduated driver’s license and responsible driving record.
• Access to a reliable vehicle to drive to project sites when required.

Working Conditions: 

• Field based role, located in Hardisty, AB
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
