In the role of Summer Student – Modern Workplace (Desktop Platform – Mobility), you will provide analytical, coordination, and documentation support to help improve asset accuracy, reduce costs, and strengthen ServiceNow data quality for desktop and mobility services. It’s an excellent job for students interested in technology operations, data analysis, and enterprise IT service management.

Placement Details:

This is an 3 month placement starting in June 2026, located in Houston, TX.

What you will do:

  • Support audit and cleanup activities across desktop and mobility assets to improve data accuracy and cost transparency
  • Assist with reviewing and validating ServiceNow records related to laptops, mobile devices, accessories, and user assignments
  • Help identify opportunities for cost reduction through license optimization, asset recovery, or inventory reconciliation
  • Support documentation and standardization of asset lifecycle processes and tracking practices
  • Assist with reporting and metrics related to device inventory, compliance, and usage trends
  • Participate in cross-team meetings and document minutes, action items, and follow-ups
  • Support ongoing ServiceNow optimization initiatives aligned to Modern Workplace and Service Desk processes

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
  • Interest in desktop platforms, mobility services, asset management, or ServiceNow

 Working Conditions: 

  • Office based role, located in Houston, TX.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
