In the role of Construction Management Intern, you will provide assistance to a team of construction experts, in the Projects organization. The individual will have an opportunity to work with digital project tools, reporting, process improvements, analytics, and construction contract development. It’s an excellent job for someone who is studying construction, business, or engineering.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month summer placement starting in May, located in Edmonton, AB.

What you will do:

  • Support change management for the Projects organization's digital software tool, Kahua.
  • Analyze various types of data and recommend costs savings by analysis.
  • Support construction governance documentation change management.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Intern will be required to give a presentation at the end of their assignment covering a summary of their experience/projects and observations from working in a corporate environment.
  • Interns will be expected to comply with all Enbridge policies and procedures and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying construction, business, or engineering and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role, located in Edmonton.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through Raise, who manages Enbridge’s Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
