Description:
The Project Manager supports the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects from initial concept through completion. This role involves close collaboration with customers and internal business functions to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a project-driven engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all phases of projects, from inception through completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned project activities.
- Lead project review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and testing.
- Define project milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
- Identify project risks and issues and recommend solutions, including resource allocation or changes to contractual specifications.
- Liaise with cross-functional business teams to understand ongoing project and operational needs.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets.
- Act as an advisor to the program team regarding project tasks, deliverables, and operational considerations.
Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of relevant professional experience (entry-level to early career).
- Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Oracle systems.
- Basic understanding of project management principles is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with Enbridge projects.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily office-based, requiring approximately 70% of time spent in an office setting.
- The remaining 30% of time involves visiting field locations to support project activities, coordination, and assessments.
