Job Overview: 

Reporting to the Lead Talent Sourcer, the Talent Sourcer will develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify talent pools for challenging-to-fill roles and skills. This role involves building and maintaining networks of talent for client roles using technology tools and multiple channels. The Talent Sourcer will work closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to understand talent requirements and will have networks of hard-to-find, diverse prospects to convert to candidates through the recruitment process. Expertise in understanding the external market is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the recruitment team to execute talent sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies, using tools and external analytics, to source candidates who are a fit for client roles.
  • Build strong relationships with potential candidates to ensure a viable talent pipeline.
  • Utilize strategic sourcing methodologies, business intelligence, internal and external networks, professional organizations, social media, branding initiatives, and technology tools to identify, engage, and recruit external talent prospects.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Leaders and the Talent Acquisition team to understand talent requirements and develop sourcing strategies to find top talent for client roles.
  • Use technology tools and social media platforms to locate talent with the required skills.
  • Develop a strong network of external talent for hard-to-fill skills and interact with external talent regularly to ensure they are engaged with the client brand until the right role is available.
  • Lead the development of a dashboard for the sourcing team to assess key metrics on the external labor market.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the administrative field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Internet navigation, email, and general computer use.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Above-average organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to learn tasks quickly and become efficient in a short period of time.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to perform work with constant interruptions.
