** The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. 

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated SCM Project Business Partner to ensure the procurement of goods, materials, construction contracts, and ancillary services are delivered at competitive costs, within agreed timelines, and aligned with project priorities. As the primary point of contact for the business, you will play a crucial role in supporting project teams and ensuring seamless SCM operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of the SCM Manager, overseeing projects up to $100+MM per annum.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project/program/development teams regarding SCM support.
  • Represent SCM at project team meetings and engage SCM functional staff to develop key deliverables, including the Project Management Plan and SCM supply and contracting plans.
  • Develop and monitor the SCM component of the Project Management Plan, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate approval of Contract Development Plans and Contract Award Recommendations.
  • Provide input into SCM progress reports and support value creation activities.
  • Coordinate stage gate reviews and facilitate SCM participation in project lessons learned sessions.
  • Ensure timely execution of services and delivery of materials and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Legal, or Business discipline.
  • Approximately 7+ years of related project, commercial, or technical business experience in the Oil & Gas or related industry.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop diverse networks and effectively communicate and influence third parties.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and regions to drive common solutions.
  • Excellent influencing and engagement skills with the ability to energize others.
  • High energy, drive, and resilience in the face of resistance.
  • Experience with multiple sourcing methodologies and enrollment in SCMP/CPSM programs beneficial.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without authority and understanding of leading supply chain techniques.
  • Superior negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in software and computer skills, with Ariba or equivalent experience being an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment with a 10% travel requirement.
