Primary Focus:
- The Senior Project Manager is accountable for managing a portfolio of complex IT and Operational Technology (OT) projects valued at up to $10MM. These initiatives primarily support Enbridge's Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) operations by maintaining, enhancing, and integrating critical systems.
- This role works closely with business and technical stakeholders to define and deliver robust technical solutions while ensuring best-practice change management is followed for all system modifications, deployments, and integrations. A strong technical understanding of OT environments, IT infrastructure, business applications, and cybersecurity is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time project management for a portfolio of complex IT/OT projects up to $10MM in value.
- Manage all PMBOK knowledge areas and process groups, ensuring optimal balance of scope, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder value.
- Deliver projects using waterfall and/or agile methodologies, as appropriate and aligned with corporate standards.
- Ensure full compliance with PMO governance, processes, and documentation requirements.
- Develop clear project mandates and supporting artifacts, including:
- Project charters
- Integrated schedules
- Budgets and cost forecasts
- Ongoing performance and variance analysis
- Develop and implement effective change management processes, procedures, and tools to ensure seamless system deployments and minimize operational risk.
- Review, approve, and ensure quality of all project deliverables.
- Drive timely resolution of project issues and risks; escalate appropriately when required.
- Provide accurate and transparent project status reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver status reports and executive-level presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop business case budget estimates for new projects and operational initiatives.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
- Apply strong leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills to enable effective execution across matrixed teams.
- Continuously evaluate delivery processes to ensure efficient, priority-based execution.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
- Improve delivery performance by:
- Collaborating with supervisors, managers, directors, peers, and stakeholders
- Conducting root-cause analysis of variances and issues
- Analyzing metrics to identify gaps and efficiency opportunities
- Enforce project governance standards, including:
- Schedules and reporting frameworks
- Project financial controls
- Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and compliance requirements
Scope:
- Accountable for multiple concurrent projects typically spanning 1–3 years each.
- Operates within a matrix organization, leading cross-functional IT and OT teams.
- Projects span the entire technology stack, from physical infrastructure and control systems to applications and end-user experience.

Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with minimal travel.
- Fast-paced environment requiring effective management of competing priorities, firm deadlines, and frequent changes in business direction.
- Availability for after-hours support during planned system changes and critical issue resolution.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience (e.g., Technologist or similar accreditation) may be considered
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
- Strong understanding of:
- IT and OT environments
- Data centres and application development
- Network infrastructure and control systems
- Industry best practices, standards, and operating procedures
- Demonstrated technical competence across complex systems and environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
- 10+ years of progressive project management experience (depending on education and certifications)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational abilities
- Collaborative, service-oriented, and team-focused work style
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to travel and manage projects across Canada and the United States

- Reports to Manager of TIS GTM Project Delivery Center
